“Paper Words” is a short film written and directed by Randy Yang that follows a single mother and young son as they face the potential loss of their home. It was set almost entirely in one apartment location in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.As production designer, I was given one week to transform a sleek, blank, modern sublet into a realistically cluttered, cozy, colorful family home.
