It was an honor to design the stage for Circuit City (2019), a theatrical work by Afrofuturist noise poet visionary Camae Ayewa (Moor Mother). I built the time machine piece in my basement woodshop with help from Yianni Kourmadas and painted and assembled it in the vacant lot next to my house. The show was performed at FringeArts in Philadelphia, PA as part of the High Pressure Fire Service Festival June 20-22, 2019.
On September 25, 2020, the audio from Circuit City was released on vinyl by Don Giovanni records. I was thrilled to see a photo of my time machine featured on the album cover and center label.
